This tea is made from overlapping Tencha leaves. Tencha leaves are thin like flakes, but if they overlap, the tea farmers cannot grind the leaves well with a mill to make a matcha powder. So they are taken out. The tea leaves taken out have a lot of umami and taste like refined Uji gyokuro. Please brew it in the same way as gyokuro and enjoy.
