Minamisayaka, the cultivar developed in Miyazaki, Kyushu Island, gives you sweet and milky fragrance like gardenia.
Once you drink it, you will be surrounded by the flower fragrance for a few hours.

Farmer’s recommended way to brew for 1 cup:
-Leaf amount: 0.1 oz / 3 g
-Water temperature: 194 – 203 F / 90 – 95 C
-Water amount: 1.69 fl oz / 50 ml
-Infusion time: 1.5 min.
Brewing steps:
1. Use soft water
2. Boil water for 5 min. to take out air and chlorine
3. Warm up your teapot and teacup with hot water
4. Put 1 teaspoon of leaves into the teapot
5. Pour the boiled hot water into the teapot and put the lid on the teapot
6. Wait 1.5 min.
7. Pour the liquid from teapot into cup to the last drop

This cultivar is my favorite of the two I tasted (the other one is Koshun) – it is delightful, stands out by its finesse, reserve and most remarkable hidden gem of its perfume, its taste. A new aroma note in this oolong, that I have not noticed in the other oolongs I tried…
