Farmer’s recommended way to brew for 1 cup:
-Leaf amount: 0.1 oz / 3 g
-Water temperature: 194 – 203 F / 90 – 95 C
-Water amount: 1.69 fl oz / 50 ml
-Infusion time: 1.5 min.
Brewing steps:
1. Use soft water
2. Boil water for 5 min. to take out air and chlorine
3. Warm up your teapot and teacup with hot water
4. Put 1 teaspoon of leaves into the teapot
5. Pour the boiled hot water into the teapot and put the lid on the teapot
6. Wait 1.5 min.
7. Pour the liquid from teapot into cup to the last drop

Koshun cultivar was the second Japanese oolong tea that I tasted – it looks and tastes fresh and gentle – the aroma is flowery and earthy-deep, enveloping in itself some energy, subtle but strongly present. Lasting sweetness in aftertaste, the tea calls one to make it and drink again.
