Fujihara Tea Growers – Tamaryokucha – Kabusecha Blended

(1 customer review)

US$14.00

The taste of this tea exceeds last year.  More kabusecha to protect leaves from frost damage.  And open-field grown leaves after frost give you rich sweetness and astringency.  Please enjoy the taste the farmer is satisfied with.

*Smaller net weight/package than last season due to the smaller harvest.

Brewing step:
1. Use soft water

    5 out of 5

The blend of open and covered tea leaves, very special this season due to weather and patience and professionalism of Fujihara Tea Growers company, this tea surprised me by its two distinct facets – one is gentle and vegetal, shimmering in its taste and the other forthcoming sweetness and intense umami. Just perfect for end of summer in the part of the world so far away from Japan. Thank you Kaoru san! Thank you, Sono!
