New harvest Shincha products are from the first harvested tea leaves of the year. Tea farmers in southern parts of the country like the Kyushu region start to pick leaves in early April. While farmers in mountainous or colder climate regions wait to harvest until the end of May. And the new harvest Shincha leaves are satiny and bright green. In addition, new harvest has more chlorophyll, less fiber, less bitterness, and more theanine than other harvests. We can say new harvest Shincha products are the best quality teas of the year.
