In Japan, we call Funmatsucha powdered Sencha. And here we highlight the major difference between Matcha and powdered Sencha. Powdered Sencha has more catechin and vitamin C than Matcha. And Matcha has more amino acids, chlorophyll, and caffeine than powdered Sencha. Powdered teas can be used in a variety of ways, including steeped in drinks and in cooking. Also, it because the whole tea leaves include some components such as Beta-carotene, Vitamin E, chlrophyll they are safe to ingest.
